Week in Review of TV: Week 3

This week its with 3:

Desperate Housewives: Thank god their back. It was a fantastic episode so its worth the 99c from iTunes I believe or the 1.99 for the HD Version. The story line was good and had pretty funny moments with Bree and Orson.

Heroes: It was ok although at the end It felt like Brian Fuller wrote it as the mood kinda totally changed but the episode improved alot compared to EP 9 of Volume 3 and up to 18 on Volume 4 so in 2 weeks I can't wait any longer for the Tracy Centric Brian Fuller Episode

24: Ok that was shockingly brilliant. I'm not a huge 24 person that was the 2nd EP I ever saw with season 2-3 being the first EP but I love the way I didn't have to know anything about the charatcters to jump right into it. The action with everything blowing up and the nerve gas stuff was just action packed. It's everything the 2nd James Bond should have been IMO.

This week in TV Shows Week in Review Part 2 we will kick it off with:

Heroes: Episode was ok. Nice surprise to see the Web Series Peeps on there Rachel Mills then it was Petrelli, Parkman , Bennet focused.

Lost: Little Sad still about Dan + Charralottee but she will return to Season 6 hopefully. Was a great episode although the time jumps made me sick

Week in Review of TV: Episode 1

I should start a series of week and review in Television so heres episode 1 of the madness so get ready:

Monday 9/8c NBC : Heroes - Cold War: This is a Noah Based episode so it only featured: Noah,Peter,Mohinder,Matt and surprisingly Daphine along with Nathan and the Hunter. Trivia: Season 1 EP17 was also Noah Based. In Season 4 EP17 I wonder what they will have. If you missed this Episode and isn't a hard core fan you didn't miss much. If your hard core download it off the wonderful Apple iTunes or watch it on Hulu.

Wednesday ABC: Lost - The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham:This was a fantastic episode and opened up alot of questions. It has a nice flash back which shows Locke failing to bring the others back and ends with Ben and spoiler: Strangling Locke

Why all the interesting people from TV shows dying.

I don't get it at all!!

1. Elle Bishop - Heroes. A fan favorite and her death made Heroes rumored to become cancelled. Nice work NBC. Waiting for Fanboys and When in Rome to see our Electric favorite. And the possibility of a Veronica Mars movie makes me jump.

2. Dr. Charlotte Staples Lewis - Lost. When her story line gets interesting about her being born on the island and all that she dies in Faraday's arms.

3. Edie Britt - Desperate Housewives. She will die this season involving a Electric Pole and a car. She was there from the beginning

4. Arthur Petrelli - Heroes. Ok so prehaps he was a villian but I always wanted to see his past rather than 2 years ago.

5. Issac Mendez - Heroes. So taking the death trip in the first season his Past would be interesting too on screen

Ok so Heroes wasn't as bad as today although it was a little stale with no Elle in it but alot of cool things happen and I recommend you checking out the first two episodes of Volume 4. The first episode was made such a way if you had no idea what Heroes was you can jump in straight away.

iBook madness is coming your way, now that it's classified Vintage, it turns 10 and has a good Anniversary coming up. My Youtube Channel will be making a lot of iBook Clamshell videos this year. Why? The iBook Clamshell was a fantastic product for consumers and sky rocketing selling for Apple with it's unique design of a handle and it's Rubber coating. The iBook Clamshell is art on it's own. From ebay I purchased a 300MHz G3 iBook Clamshell Blueberry with 64MB of Soldered Memory. The specs:

300MHz Power PC G3
64MB Soldered Ram - Found an 64MB iBook Memory in an old non-working Gateway Solo 2300 Laptop. So for now it will be 128MB and I will upgrade the ram to 512MB = 576MB.
3GB Hard drive - I will be upgrading this to an 80-100GB Hard drive
CD-Rom - Will be upgrading to a DVD-R Drive to watch Movies.
0S9 - Going to put at first Puma, When I get the 512MB - Panther.
And will add an airport card.

Why did I get it?

1. On ebay an iBook Clamshell with the same specs would be found for €150 including shipping. I bought one for €78 including shipping so it was a great deal.

2. Experience Power PC Chipset

3. Run Legacy Games

4. A Backup computer if my MacBook Pro ever has to go to Apple to get fixed

Ok so sadly this is posted a day late due to the fact I'm terribly busy but last night we went out for dinner and met all of our cousins and totally celebrated it. There was lobster,pork, veg etc everything you could expect and twitter followers can see pics of the lobster lol. A cool thing was I made €250 exactly from it and hope to buy a Sony Webbie Cam HD which will be publicly on sale in March or Kodak Zi6.

Me: How long were you using computers?

Exceltia: Since I was about 7

Me: How did you come across youtube?

Exceltia: I was messing around on Google one day, then I saw Google Video, so I clicked on it, and most of the videos led to YouTube.
So then, I decided to check it out

Me: What really started to make you learn computers?

Exceltia: Well, my Mom got her PC in 2005 or around there, and I was just really interested in it. So I started to use it, and I like it.

Me: Outside of youtube and computers had you encounters with people your friends with or are subscribed to you.

Exceltia: No, but I have met someone on Skype and AIM who is from the same state and who is a very close distance from me.

Me: What drove you into Film or more specifically film editing?

Exceltia: To be honest, Windows Movie Maker did, I saw it on my Moms desktop and I was curious so I opened it up, and just went from there.

Me: What made you switch to the Mac?

Exceltia: My School uses all Apple, and in the 4th grade, my teacher got a MacBook, and I really liked it. So I checked out some of Apple's products, and I really liked them, so that led up to me getting my own Mac.

Me: Who's your favorite director?

Exceltia: Umm...probably for me, the Coen brothers. They have such a way of making films.

Me: And the last question is what are your plans for the future?

Exceltia: I will probably end up being a graphic artist/apple widget designer/movie editer/audio editer, I also want to work at home.

iMovie really killed me this time. When exporting iMovie messed up the start with 1980s quality. Then around the end iMovie crashed on me which led me to rush the end from Mac-mad. Next time remind me to use Final Cut Pro even though it takes so much effort LOL.

This convention hosts from BT to Intel and other places and shows off new Tech bringing the exhibition exciting for Geeks like me. Some Macs where there like the MacBook in the video showing off a website and Intel had an iMac or 2 showing off HSM3 so I didn't record that stand but for 2010 I highly recommend you check this out. This Video shows some of the best content from working in Kenya,Ice-cream made a different way, A C shot coded Game for the X-box 360, A game thats about being energy efficent and alot more. The RDS is just one of the many great places in the world for Tech!

No homework today woo! and tomorrow were having a phone convention on the bus lol

Came from school happy once in my life or so! No homework due to the exhibiton tomorrow. Tomorrow Were having a phone convention on the bus even though were not allowed to bring phones. There will be bluetooth,quite music,prehaps a video or too lol prob buy some songs and apps on the bus too since we can now download over 3g!

In other news I'm redoing heroes Season 1 and 2 for iTunes and what better way than torrenting the HQ ones as my previous were crappy 4:3 and not to mention mac the ripper rips some of the 2nd episode into ep 1 Ugh Poor DVDs....

Expectations of Mac World 2009

Mac World the last one ever. Well that was.... Epic  Anyway the introduced : The Mac Pack which has: Leopard,iLife 09,iWork 09 for €169. Nice deal considering Leopard is sold for €129 single licence pack. And they introduced the new 17" MacBook Pro. Well my reaction. I got hyper venelated  and had got alot of adreanlean. 3 words : I want one. Why did they make this after I bought the Gen before it! Its beautiful with it's Hybrid SLI Graphics, 17" Display, Support upto 8GB of Memory. Ah Crap. Now I'm wondering what about the iMacs and mac minis. They will be getting updated no doubt as the code with the MCP79 Nvidia Chipset Kexts labled iMac 10,1 and Mac Mini 3,1.

Rating: 60%. 

50% of that was MacBook Pro. 10% Was iLife
